This course provides you with the knowledge and skills to address significant challenges in the context of providing a health care service. You will learn how to communicate with patients, colleagues, health providers and ambulance service callers in in a range of situations, using both verbal and non-verbal interactions. 2. Students must have access to a device with camera and audio recording capabilities, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a webcam. This device will be necessary for creating short videos as part of the assessment, in which students verbally explain the required assessment outcomes.
The online learning and assessment is expected to take approximately 7-8 hours to complete. These timeframes are estimates. Individuals with prior experience in similar training may complete the course in less time, while those new to the subject may need more time to complete all the learning content and assessment questions.
This course is delivered fully online and will be self-paced. Students are expected to complete this course within six (6) months after enrolment.
